What I Like About You

Hey Everyone!

Well I had a lot of running around to do today, it was annoying as hell. I got up around 1 as I had a meeting with my Academic Counselor to get my exam makeup sheet signed. I then had to head up to Examination Services to hand it to them since this was for a main campus exam, and when I got there I'm told it will be up to their discretion. This just makes me nervous of course because the exam was yesterday so if they say no (which will really make them total a-holes in my book, yes you heard me, I said the a word) then I don't know how I'll write this test since the test date has already past.

Anyway, when I got back I put the finishing touches on my Research Proposal which was due today, and then just watched some television while I waited for 5:30 to roll around. Class was boring as usual, as we just talked about Qualitative Research. It was basically a snore fest, plain and simple. I got out of there about 7:45PM and headed home once more. I had dinner and cake (yay for cake!) and now here I am, waiting for The Real World DC (yes I watch the show, but it's not THAT bad this season).

Now if you're wondering what happened related to my autism, I'd say just my having to do the whole test run around when really it was the SSD's fault not mine. I had to get a code from my professor to allow me to write any exams in the course with SSD, and at first they didn't have that course on my list. So of course after I go to the trouble to get the code, so that I can sign up for the exam, apparently I forgot to sign up for the exam. So to put it in simple words, I had to sign up for a test that I already went to the trouble of getting a code for for it to appear on my SSD website page. Frankly it would of made more sense for them to automatically just sign me up for the test after I went to all that trouble. But no, it's my fault for not signing up and my fault for there being a chance that I might not get to even write the test!

That's the end of my rant,
Night all!

Cause When You're Fifteen

Hey Everyone!

So I woke up at 12PM after a 12 hour sleep and had my usual shower. I watched television for a while and then headed to my Psych of Work class which wasn't bad for once. We watched a clip from Braveheart, followed by a clip from Devil Wears Prada (one of my favourite movies). Lauren and I then walked back to her place before I headed home for my first night off in a while. Even though I'll need to get back to studying for Tuesday's exam, I just decided to take tonight off as I had spent the past couple days both studying and writing a silly Research paper.

Around 9:55PM, I headed to Lauren's so we could head over to King's Players. We had some fun, and I played Pocket Lines (a game where you act out a scene and insert in one of the lines on the slips of paper you picked out). There were other games we played, but not as many on stage ones, more "In the Manner of the Word" or "Molecules".

After KP we headed to Christina's Pub for a little while, and chatted. I then grabbed some groceries from the variety store and Lauren, Ashley and I headed home. Now that's where I am, playing Matrix: The Path of Neo.

Night all!

Looking Through Your Eyes

Hey Everyone!

So I woke up at 1:00PM and watched MadTV. I then had my shower and everything else and headed to class.

Psych of Work was boring as always, and then I headed out to Huron College for my Soph Carousel. Sophs are the people who help integrate the First-Year students into life at my university. So we then basically did different activities. This included problem-solving, cheer-making, values judgment, and just leadership activities. It was all a lot of time even if it did take four hours.

I then headed back to King's for King's Players, and headed back home after words.

Autism-wise still another sticking to this whole schedule :P of writing my blog.

Night all,
Sean

You're A Superstar

Hey Everyone!

So I woke up at 12PM and checked my e-mail, finding out I had to meet with the VP of Operations for the Students Council as I had to get some documents and pictures and such for the website at 1:30PM.

I had my usual shower and such, then got dressed and watched some television. I then headed out and spoke with the VP and went back home. I then just watched television and studied a bit more.

I headed to my Research Methods course where I was bored out of my mind this time. While the lab was just as bad sadly, as all we learned was citing things for our Literature Review part of our project. Basically it was like "I KNOW HOW TO CITE!" so it was quite ridiculous.

I finally came home, and here we are.

Autism-wise, just the structure thing again.

That's it for tonight!

Whip It

Hey Everyone!

I woke up about 2PM, yes 2PM, and got ready for class. I headed to Psych of Organizations at 3:30PM and met Lauren in class then listened to another relatively boring lecture as is with this course.

I headed back to my friend's place and waited for my Dad to pick me up to take me home for Reading Week. I just watched some television while I waited for my Dad, then headed home at 7PM. We stopped off at Empire Theatres to get some nachos for my Mom, then stopped at Mac's convenience store for a slushie and then headed home.

It's really nice being home and I guess the only autism-related thing that I went through was that I couldn't get off the topic of career advice I got from my career counselor at school. I then finished off by watching Whip It and now am watching T.V. again.

That's basically it. Sorry for another short post.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours

Hey Everyone!

I was up a lot of the night and headed over to King's for some career advice at about 10AM. I then grabbed some breakfast from the cafeteria and headed home. I took a nap around 12PM till close to 4:30PM and got ready to go out as my exam was at 5:30PM.

I headed to my Research exam at 5:30PM and I think I did fairly well, but it'll just be a matter of waiting to see how I did.

I then came home and am now just relaxing, enjoying the night as now I don't have an exam again until mid March.

Autism-wise, it was just a case of over-stimulation from television and computer. As a result, I was up for most of the night because my brain couldn't shut off for the night.

Sorry for the short post!

Tonight, Tonight

Hey Everyone!

So I woke up at 12PM briefly when my parents came to drop off some boots due to the immense amount of snow that was going to be coming our way today and tomorrow.

I then woke up again at about 3PM and got ready for class. I then headed to class at 3:30 which was clinical and we just learned about Interviews and related topics.

Following class I headed up to Talbot College so as to get my personal reflection of my solo from last week done. Turns out my solo was better than I had originally thought. So I gave myself a relatively good mark.

After class I headed home and have just been studying for my Research midterm which is tomorrow. I think I'm ready but that doesn't make me any less nervous.

Autism-wise I think the only thing that happened was talking more than needed on the phone to my mother, saying more than I needed to say as usual.

That's all!

Memory, All Alone in the Moonlight

Hey Everyone!

I'm sorry for not posting last night. I had been up ALL night Monday night and so when I got home last night I just headed right to bed. It was a normal day yesterday with staying up all night, heading to Masonville to pick up some things, writing my Clinical Psychology midterm, and performing my Music solo.

Today I woke up at 10PM after ten hours of sleep. I got up and had breakfast. I then worked all day on my research idea which I hope is okay, but we'll see. I then headed to class at 5:30 and learned about testing validity. Afterwards I headed to main campus for play rehearsal that lasted until 11:30PM so I had to get Western Foot Patrol to walk me back to King's so I could stay at my friend's place. I also hung out with the girls upstairs and apparently I'm just funny as hell because whenever talking to them I crack them up till they're on the floor laughing.

I'd say the biggest/only thing that happened autism-wise was that I consistently apologized to my director so often it probably ticked him off more than me adding a word to my lines once in a while.

Sorry for the short post despite two days worth of material!

Night all!

The Day You Slipped Away

Hey so how was my day you might ask? It's quite simple, lame as anything. Whether waking up from a phone call at 12PM to dealing with my friend's landlord, it was anything but not exciting.

Class happened at 5:30 and was quite boring because all we learned about was measurements for Psychology Research. Following this class I went home and chatted with my mother a bit and now watching television.

Autism-wise, I was also just worried I was stressing my friend Lauren out with some matters that I can't discuss on here, which was pretty silly.

However, there was one thing that happened tonight after I posted this. I found out that a friend both Lauren and I had...had passed away. We found out from his best friend and he was only 25...I only knew him for a short while. Sure lots of talking on MSN but Lauren and I only met him in person once, but he was one of those people who you can't help but call your friends even if you hang with them for one day. If any of my friends reading this are wondering why they haven't heard of him before it was because while he was a really good person, I have a lot of friends and acquaintances so it's sometimes difficult to talk about all of them and since he didn't go to Kings or Western like most of my friends, he went to Fanshawe, so I never really had to bring him up. However, I'm still pretty sad about this as this has been the first friend I've ever really lost permanently. Not someone who just drifted away because of going to different schools or just different interests, but one I'm never actually going to see again.

Save the Last Dance For Me

Hey Everyone!

So I woke up at 1PM and just basically stayed in my bed for a bit and my Mom and I talked briefly just about when we're having dinner tomorrow. And also about how I had succumbed and cleaned my friend's dishes even though I didn't really want to.

I then headed over to Kings because I needed to talk to my Disability Counselor to rebook another exam because I had had problems with the website once again. I've figured it out now, but I definitely had no clue about why it didn't work yesterday.

After this I headed to Main to talk with a counselor about some personal business that I'd rather not talk about on here if that's okay.

I then headed to the mall to do some grocery shopping and then came home. I headed to class at 5:30PM and just listened to the lecture and afterwords headed home. I watched American Idol. And I'm watching Toddlers and Tiaras right now and I just don't understand what the heck this show is. I mean the mothers put WAY too much pressure on their kids...it's ridiculous...

Autism-wise, I think really only thing that happened was that I was a bit wired after watching Idol so when I talked to Mom, I was a little more excited than I should of been.

That's all for today!

Hit Me With Your Best Shot

Hi Everyone!

So I woke up at 12PM and had my usual shower. I then headed up to Main Campus of school and had an audition for the Purple Shorts Festival Theatre Western was putting on. I read a speech from Death of a Salesman, and then I was asked to read it with a bubbly personality. Then asked to do an evil villain's laugh to which I apparently scared everyone who heard it :P. I then had to do it in a British accent and this was where it got funny. I started in a random accent, then went into a Scottish accent, and then finally reached a British one. But at least I showed them all my accents I can do. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

After the audition, I headed to my next TV Western training and learned about the cameras they used, and then got to go around and train using the camera. After this I headed back home for a bit before my class.

I headed to my research class and actually found it quite fast-paced, not in a bad way, just that we moved through the slides really fast. Then we had our lab and that moved really fast as well.

Now I'm home again and headed for bed.

Night all!
