Believe in Yourself

Hey Everyone!
So Thursday was a good day for sure. I definitely had a lot of fun because of two main reasons.

The first is because I had my audition to be on the Big Purple Couch (the official talk show of the University Students Council at my school) as a co-host and I thought it went so much better than last year. Last year I stumbled a bit, wasn't sure what to say, and was nervous quite a bit. THIS year however I had so much fun with it. I went up there and just chatted with the host Ali as though I'd known her for a while and actually got to know her more through the conversation. I don't know yet if I'll actually get the position as there were 17 people trying out including me and that's going to be difficult to decide from but I do hope mine was one of the top choices :P.

The other reason that I had fun but also experienced a bit of sadness was because I had my first executive council meeting of King's Players (myself having been made Vice-President of Membership Affairs and Attendance) which went quite well. We went over the agenda which I thought was very well laid out and I'm now just absolutely thrilled about King's Players next year. We also had our final King's Players meeting of this year which is the sad part because it means I have to wait five months before I get to return to improv :(. It was still a lot of fun, and the visit to Christina's Pub once more was fun as always. I'm going to miss it a lot but at least we still have the scavenger hunt next week which will go okay I think unfortunately for us our weather drops down to 9 degrees Celsius, whereas today it was 20 degrees Celsius so it's going to be unfortunate that the temperature chooses that night to drop. But at least it's not in the negative numbers or even low single digits.

Autistic-wise I think the only thing that might have happened was me doing my whole getting aggravated when I'm trying to say something and the person who is talking keeps talking and to me I'm sitting there thinking "LET ME TALK!". But I suppose that's how it goes.

Night Everyone! Also the post for Friday I won't be able to write until later because well I'm going to bed (it's actually Saturday early morning right now as I write this :P)

You're Beautiful

Hello Everyone!

Wow it was an interesting day for Thursday. Basically woke up at 10:30AM which of course was frustrating as I get to bed so late and as a result I just wind up exhausted. I had to get up as I had a rehearsal for my ensemble at Noon over on main campus. The practice went find and I am getting better at hitting the right notes when singing harmony but I'm still working on it.

I also had class with Lauren but it was a dull adventure minus Lauren and I trying to figure out our Friday night since we had been invited to a tea party (for Alice in Wonderland, having finished the play but still can't let it go :P) but we also had planned two weeks ago to do a movie night for Friday.

King's Players was the only other thing that happened and thanks to John's overextended Presidential speech having won the election....it was a meeting with very few games sadly. But Christina's Pub was fun though and we got to talk more but I SWEAR I need to watch what I eat. I mean, onion rings, and cheese nachos? Can we say FAT!? Anyway, autism-wise it was just a case of not getting to bed early enough because of the stimulation from television and the computer. But I suppose....what can you do? :P

Lots of love!

Cause When You're Fifteen

Hey Everyone!

So I woke up at 12PM after a 12 hour sleep and had my usual shower. I watched television for a while and then headed to my Psych of Work class which wasn't bad for once. We watched a clip from Braveheart, followed by a clip from Devil Wears Prada (one of my favourite movies). Lauren and I then walked back to her place before I headed home for my first night off in a while. Even though I'll need to get back to studying for Tuesday's exam, I just decided to take tonight off as I had spent the past couple days both studying and writing a silly Research paper.

Around 9:55PM, I headed to Lauren's so we could head over to King's Players. We had some fun, and I played Pocket Lines (a game where you act out a scene and insert in one of the lines on the slips of paper you picked out). There were other games we played, but not as many on stage ones, more "In the Manner of the Word" or "Molecules".

After KP we headed to Christina's Pub for a little while, and chatted. I then grabbed some groceries from the variety store and Lauren, Ashley and I headed home. Now that's where I am, playing Matrix: The Path of Neo.

Night all!

Looking Through Your Eyes

Hey Everyone!

So I woke up at 1:00PM and watched MadTV. I then had my shower and everything else and headed to class.

Psych of Work was boring as always, and then I headed out to Huron College for my Soph Carousel. Sophs are the people who help integrate the First-Year students into life at my university. So we then basically did different activities. This included problem-solving, cheer-making, values judgment, and just leadership activities. It was all a lot of time even if it did take four hours.

I then headed back to King's for King's Players, and headed back home after words.

Autism-wise still another sticking to this whole schedule :P of writing my blog.

Night all,
Sean

Sorry for Being Sorry

Hey Everyone!

So I didn't do my post yesterday due to exhaustion on my part. I had woken up at 8AM on Sunday and headed to final dress rehearsal at the UCC at 9AM for the play. I then headed back to the house for a short time until the Fashion Show shoot which I still felt odd about being in a tank top as I'm not like super fit or anything. After that I had students council which was the USC Presidential debate, and then finally followed dby a LONG LONG LONG play practice. The directors have decided to make practice 6:30-11 now which is freaking ridiculous no matter how much practice they thing we need, it is still completely ridiculous.

Today on the other hand, I woke at 12PM and quickly went to Kings to do some business that needed...doing, and then headed back home for a bit. At 2:30PM my parents and I went out shopping and had dinner, and then just headed back home. Around 6:30PM I headed to speech class which I'll be doing my speech on the Monday after reading week. Then at 8:30PM I headed to the UCC as it was time for the production. We went on at 10PM and it went wonderfully, and now I'm home and just relaxing after a good day's work.

I only had autism related things when I was with my parents and kept talking despite the fact I knew I could of just cut it short. But oh well.

That's all for today!

Improv Insanity

Hey Everyone!

I woke up at 12PM and had my usual shower and then hopped a cab to Masonville as I had to pick up a wife beater shirt for the Fashion Show photo shoot tomorrow. I then got my hair cut too for the same reason and then hopped a cab back to the UCC for play rehearsal.

When I got to the UCC, play rehearsal went really well. I actually have all my lines memorized I now just need to work on not sounding like a stand up comic but sounding like I'm joking with a friend.

Following this, one of my co-stars Joel drove me home and we discussed the annoying elections of the University Students Council President election. I don't really know why this whole thing annoys me, but probably because each UWO President generally has never works on producing anything they promise so really, how can we trust them?

Once I got dropped off, I headed to the Improv show which went really well and was so much fun.

After that I headed home and here I am, 3AM, I have to be up for dress rehearsal at 8AM, so I'm basically...screwed.

Night Everyone!

Dancing Queen

Hey Everyone!

So to begin with, yes I've returned to my old format but it's just so hard for me to stick to any other format than that. But I suppose that's just my autism for you really, I have no control over that particular aspect. Or should I say, I do but don't bother worrying about it too much.

I woke up at 1PM and was planning to get up as I had a meeting at 2PM but then it got cancelled. So I decided to head back to bed, however then I talked with my Mom a bit and then just studied some more before my exam.

I headed to my exam at 3:30PM and I think it was not too bad, I finished at 5 and headed back to my place where I just watched some TV until 10PM when I headed to King's Players.

When I got there I found out I was going to be in the Improv show on Saturday. We then learned some more techniques for improvisation and then headed to Christina's Pub.

I then got home and here I am.

As you can see my only autistic thing was that of my returning to my usual structure of my blog.

Night All!

Even In the Darkest Night, There Is Light

Hi Everyone!

So I woke up around 12PM and had my usual shower. I then had some tea while I waited for 1:30 to roll around. I then headed over to King's to meet with a counselor at King's so that I could figure out some more information about after Undergrad.

After this meeting I headed to class for 3:30PM and then finished up class and headed back home while I waited for King's Players.

At 10PM I headed to King's Players and had a great time playing the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. We also played World's Worst again, and a few other fun games.

Following this we headed to Christina's Pub and hung out and played some of our own games such as going around saying nouns that couldn't relate to one another. It was a lot of fun I must say. I then headed home and here I am, and I just had a power outage out of the blue but I don't know why :P.

Autistic-wise, I didn't want to drop a topic I was discussing with my best friend because it's an important topic in my opinion.

Oh and I also wanted to say I got in the Purple Shorts Festival in a play called "Ruthless". I'm so excited that I made it into the Festival!

That's all for today!
