Working Out, and a Thank-You to Everyone!

Well, that didn't work out the way I planned it :P. I hope you all had a good day today though. I have to say mine was sadly, quite dull. Apart from the normal working with Chris, and playing with my nephew, the only eventful thing that happened (if you can call it eventful) was me starting the next part of my work out.

I've actually been running three times a week and have been following this plan about how to go from a couch potato, to running 5K. Basically you start off by having a five minute brisk walk, and then start alternating between 60 seconds of jogging, followed by 90 seconds of walking and you basically repeat this for twenty minutes. Now of course, that's only the first week. The second week you up the time so you're doing 90 seconds of jogging and the same of walking. Third week you do 90 seconds again but cut the walking back to only 60 seconds. And basically the plan is to try and get you running for a total of 30 minutes with no walking breaks in between. I do hope I actually can stick to it because one of my big things is that I generally drop a work out after a certain point simply because I lose any enjoyment from it, and it's just a case of pain and annoyance. But 'm hoping I'll stick to it for the summer and hopefully will be able to tone some muscle that I desperately need :P.

Autism-wise, I think the only thing that really happened was I started rambling to my mom about something or other today. She had to tell me I was rambling before I even realized it, which I'll admit I feel a bit silly for but what can you do?

Anyway that's all for tonight/yesterday night, also just a little interesting tidbit. I calculated up all the views I've had of this blog on OS, and I've reached over 13,000 views! And combined with the 2,675 views on this Blogspot version of the blog, my blog has reached over 15,000 views! It's kind of a wow moment for me, and I really want to say thank-you to everyone who's been reading my blog. Those of you who have been faithful readers, reading many of my blogs I thank you! And to those of you who have just started, I thank you as well!

Gran's Birthday

Hey Everyone!

Pretty uneventful day for the most part except that I had a great time celebrating my grandmother's 92nd birthday. Hard to believe she's already 92, and me, I'm just 22 :P. Anyway autism-wise, nothing really happened at all except that I became apparently un-coachable because of my driving which I still don't understand. I see people driving with cell phones still, I see them texting, I see them driving with headphones or eating. Me? Two hands on the wheel, watching out, and just because I came up to an intersection even a LITTLE bit fast, and I emphasize because I was still in the process of slowing down and it would of all been fine none the less unless the brakes were cut :P, my Mom calls me uncoachable. No one likes backseat drivers, let's face it...and while I appreciate my Mom's help, it just frustrated me a bit that my driving was being criticized again despite her saying I drove quite well on my way back from Elgin Manor yesterday. And that's also my autism, not being able to let it go....

Kick-Ass

Hello All!

So I'm doing a little different tonight. My day was good but frankly after seeing Kick-Ass the movie, I have to say I just want to talk about it. Please note there will be spoilers, and I apologize for this.

Kick-Ass features a high school nerd basically who decides that, after reading too many comic books, he wants to become a hero to stop the bad guys out there. While admirable I will say he is quite misguided seeing as how he doesn't have super strength or anything along those lines, just a heart full of courage and we all know where that actually leads in real life..

Due to his efforts, three more heroes appear, Big Daddy, Hit Girl, and Red Mist, all with the idea of trying to emulate Kick-Ass, except that they have a heck of a lot more skills (or at least the first two) and kill without mercy, becoming more vigilante heroes than actual heroes.

The villain being a mob boss is the threat in this case and has an arsenal of henchmen and guns at his disposal as well as martial arts of his own. He really is an evil crook going so far as to try and kill Hit Girl (sorry for the spoiler) and ruthlessly beating down Kick-Ass and Big Daddy, or at least having his henchmen do so.

Anyway, all in all, GREAT movie, and there have been apparent talks for a sequel so that's of course fun too!

Only things I have to say about my own life is some idiot knocked on my trunk when I was driving through a merge area because apparently he thought it would be nice to walk onto the street when he CLEARLY saw me heading through. The idiot wasn't even THERE at first, so hence I had the right of way because he came out of nowhere. I don't even know why he knocked on my trunk, he wasn't even crossing in front of me and I tried to drive in front of him, he walked behind me and decides to knock on my trunk? Whatever, guy was an idiot anyway.

The only other thing is I luckily found out, God of War will be made into a motion picture so that makes me ECSTATIC. I just hope it's a total success and not a flop.

Why'd You Have to Go And Make Things So Complicated

Hey Everyone!

Okay so today I woke up at 1PM and watched MADTV. I then had my shower and headed to the mall. I went to Masonville and quickly went to Scotiabank to deposit some money, and then headed to the theatre. I went to see the Blind Side with Sandra Bullock and it was an AMAZING film. One of the best I've ever seen, it had such an emotional and wonderful film. Sandra Bullock is seriously an amazing actor, and knows how to use her talent to the utmost of one's ability.

After the movie I headed over to Cinnabon, got a cinnamon bun, but then realized I stupidly forgot to get my ticket for Avatar this Thursday so I had to go back and get it and thankfully the lines had cleared up so I didn't have to wait for more than one person. I then called a taxi to head home. On Richmond, closing into Richmond and Windemere, someone I guess had been hit and as a result my cab wound up a $20 ticket instead of a $10.00. It really is unfortunate and I hope the person is okay.

When I finally got home I had dinner, and the Cinnabon, and then just watched some television.

Don't Make Me Over!

Hey Everyone!
So I got up at about 11AM and took a shower as usual. My parents had to take me to Wal-Mart because I had to get some food for the week. They were going away for a couple days and I was going to be staying at my friend's place again for the week so I needed to make sure I had some food for it.

After this we headed to London, and stopped at Kelsey's for lunch. My parents then dropped me off at my friend's place and I just did some studying. After this around 6:30 I headed over across the street to Lauren's to visit with her as she's leaving Thursday. We just chatted about some school stuff, and some random other stuff, and then I headed back to my friend's.

Basically the rest of the night was put towards studying, watching Canada's Worst Driver finale in which I laughed my butt off, and some Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. This week might be dull for my blog people because I'm not going to be going out much until Thursday, so obviously not much interaction with people. It might wind up more like a journal this week so that's just a warning for all of you. :) But I'd love it if you do keep reading.

My Life Would Suck Without You

Hey Everyone!

So I got up at 1:30PM and took a shower and such as usual.

Around 3:30 PM I went to a Writing Multiple Choice info session which was interesting, but I might go a second time simply for refresher in the new year. I then headed back home and had dinner. After that I worked on some studying for my Personality Theory final.

At 6:30PM I headed to class and listened to more speeches. It was a relatively dull day though I did find out I got an 82 in my Process Analysis. While it was lower than my last speech, it's still in the 80s and I think my marks will bounce around in there for most of the course.

After this I headed home and just watched some South Park, Canada's Worst Drivers (which is hilarious by the way :P) and some Family Guy.
