When I Get Older, I Will Be Stronger

Hey Everyone!

So not a busy day today, not really much happened. I woke up, got ready for the day, played God of War 3 and then headed to work. Work was just a visit to Wendy's, and then finishing WALL-E, and watching Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. I then just finished off God of War 3 when I got home, and now am just watching regular tv. I guess the only autistic thing that happened today was...actually I don't think anything related to my autism happened today. It was just such a dull day (minus beating God of War 3 of course) that I really can't say anything could have arisen to do anything autistic. :P

Sorry for such a short post everyone!

King's Charity Fashion Show

Hey Everyone!

So wow, busy busy day it was. First off I had to get up at 9:30 which did not make me happy because I like sleeping in especially when I often don't get to bed until after 3am. My Dad and I had to head to London around 10:30 (hence the 9:30 wake up as it takes me an hour to actually pull myself out of bed, get my shower, brush my teeth, and get something to eat). We got to the venue with tons of time but only to find out barely anything was moving along. I don't understand why either since the girls should of gotten there at 9 and by 11:30 you'd figure their make up would all be done but it was BARELY halfway done. I was stunned to say the least. I wound up having to put posters on the doors as I waited for something to happen.

We finally got to go to lunch at 1PM, about a half hour later than we were suppose to but whatever. My friends from the show, David, Jenny, Kristina, Sherlrina and myself headed to the nearby Citi Plaza and grabbed some food to eat and then headed back to the venue because we were (hopefully) going to start a run through. We did, but man I don't understand why we didn't just do a complete run through and then fix what went wrong. It didn't really make sense because then we could get a sense of how to do it and then work on whatever went wrong. We also wound up having to wait for about an hour and a half till the show started since the run through of the scenes I was in had finished, but it took till basically the doors opening for it all to be done. And then we still had to wait an hour for the show to start. Luckily we got pizza for dinner so we at least had SOME food to tie us over.

The show I found went really well though. My scenes of Nike, Commander Salamander, Moore's (tuxedos), and the King's Pro Shop went great and I felt happy knowing I did a good job. We ended the show by having a procession of ALL the models and then gave flowers to Cheryl and Hayley the two commissioners in charge of the Fashion Show. Though I SERIOUSLY think they should be paid for this. I don't understand why the KUCSC doesn't realize that the show is a LOT of work, and it's constant work from October till March for heavens sake. The people in charge have to deal with fittings, and booking the venue, finding sponsors, finding the stores who want to have their clothes in the show, getting posters and tickets designed, choosing models and dancers, spending probably more than FORTY hours a week trying to get everything perfect. So if anyone from the KUCSC (aside from me :P) is reading my blog, I suggest you think about changing the Fashion Show Commissioners position to Coordinators so they can get paid the money they deserve because otherwise they're blowing blood vessels over the show that they're only volunteering to do. Got it? Good.

ANYWAY,
Once the show was over, it was a relief that now all my non-school events were over and now just to focus on school...yay. Why can't I just become and actor or model instead of this? I love acting and modeling and such about a million times more than school....but oh yeah....it's really hard to make a great paycheck from acting/modeling so I have to go to school to get a fall-back....Woo hoo...

Well that's all for tonight. And if you can't figure out the autism part, well I suppose I'll tell you another time :P

The Bounty Hunter

Hey Everyone,

So Friday was a relatively dull day frankly. I basically just played God of War 3 some more until around 4 when I had to head out to work and take Chris out. He decided to switch it up on me by asking to go to Burger King which is the first time we've gone there since I think six months ago. But at the same time, it still is one of the restaurants that he prefers to go to. Try getting him to go to a healthy place like Subway or something like that and he'd probably run out the door. I have to admit, I'm worried about him, I realize I myself don't have the best eating habits but I at least do get SOME healthy food in me. From what I see of him though, it's just pizza, cheeseburgers, chili cheese burritos, and more junk food. I just don't know if in the future he'll have a healthy life or not because of these choices. I know I'm trying to change but it seems like he won't just because of his autism, which makes him such a picky eater.

Moving on...

Chris and I continued watching more of WALL-E at my house which we had started three weeks ago but it's still not finished. But we're obviously going to finish it up on Sunday when I pick him up.

Finally, my parents and I headed out and saw The Bounty Hunter with Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. Hilarious movie I have to say. There was a bit of suspense in some places but most of it was just non-stop hilarity. I definitely have to say that Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler go really well together and make a great pair on the big screen. I just hope we see some more movies from the two of them because they definitely have a really good chemistry on the screen too.

I suppose my autism thing that happened was in this post frankly, me trailing on about Chris' eating habits. But that's not actually true since I'm writing this Sunday morning so I suppose we'll count this as a mixture of Saturday and Sundays :P.

Night Everyone!

God of War 3!

Hey Everyone!

I am so sorry for not posting this yesterday as I had planned to. I just got back to St. Thomas and completely forgot to post so I guess it happens. Yesterday wasn't a big deal anyway, I basically helped sell Fashion Show Tickets for about an hour and a half, and then followed it up by leaving London and class really early to head home back to St. Thomas.

I saw Alice in Wonderland yesterday too which was just as great the second time as it was the first time. Johnny Depp was weird as usual but that is his general character in Tim Burton films anyway :P.

I also finally got to begin playing God of War 3 which was absolutely amazing, and still is as I'm still playing it. It's just beyond amazing, the graphics are refined, the control is easy to get use to, and I gotta say, killing the Greek Gods is fun especially with how you kill them in the game. :P It's one of the few brutal type games I'm into, and I don't know why. I guess because it mixes a great plot with lots of action, two things I love in my games. I suppose I did go on about it a bit too much to my parents of course, but that's just the "autism in me" :P.

That's all for yesterday lol.

You Are My Sunshine

Hey Everyone!

Today was a relatively slow day frankly. I had to go to my final fitting at Commander Salamander, a store that sells somewhat alternative clothing. I'm just going to be wearing a normal pair of jeans that are my own, but a brownish beige button up shirt. I have to say though, with it being St. Patrick's Day, London students have basically gone completely insane. I swear there were some guys asking people to show them their bodies if they weren't wearing green.

Really the only other part about today I guess was going out to dinner with my friend. Just went to Jack Astor's and it was fun. That's basically it about the dinner. I'm looking forward to tomorrow though because I'll be home and can play God of War 3, Final Fantasy 13, and I'm just totally happy about that of course. Right now however I'm playing Pokemon SoulSilver and about to watch New Moon which I got early because of pre-ordering it online. It's so nice knowing that I have a movie most people won't get until Saturday :P.

Finally, the only thing related to autism that happened today was when I was chatting with the coordinator for the Fashion Show, I told her how I felt as though the DJ for the show didn't like me for some reason. But she reassured me that as long as I hadn't done anything, there was no point in thinking that he was mad at me, which I suppose is completely true.

So I guess that's it for today.
Night all!

I Said I'm Walkin Down the Street with my Nike's On

Hey Everyone!

So semi-busy day today I have to say. Today was the day I had to pick up my tuxedo for the Fashion Show and at the same time pick up God of War 3 since it was just released. I can't play it at the moment sadly since I'm in London for tonight and tomorrow, but soon as I'm home, you can guess what I'll be doing :P It was surprising to me though that despite it being the release of the game, there was no line up whatsoever when I got there around noon so go figure.

The rest of the day basically just consisted of classes and fashion show practice. My solo for Music class, "Summertime" went really well. They basically said that I knew exactly how to project my voice this time and I had a great balance between both my high notes and my low notes which really made me happy. 90% or higher here I come :P.

As for Fashion Show practice, it was just a complete run through of the entire show, with one scene after another in the order it had to be in. The title of this post is due to the title of a song that basically goes with one of the stores I'm modeling for.

I suppose that's basically it aside from talking too much to one of my fellow models. (This would be my autistic thing for today :P)

That's all for tonight!
